Jomolhari Trek - I

The Jumolhari Trek takes you from 2,600m /8400ft up to 4,000m / 13000ft. It could even go up to 5,224m / 16900ft if you choose and is the most popular route taken. This is partly because of its access to Paro and Thimphu and the fact that it is of moderate difficulty. In addition, the duration of the trek is ideal for most trekkers.
Besides the Chance to trek to the base of the impressive Jumolhari Mountain, beautiful campsites and the amazing views of Mt. Jichu Drakey, Mt. Tshering Gang and Mt. Masang-Gang, you will be able to spot Blue Sheep, Snow Leopard, Marmot, Himalayan Griffon, Lammergeier, Blue poppy and many more alpine flowers.

Jomolhari Trek-II

This 8 day Circuit trek starts from Drukgyel Drzong, upper Paro valley. With forest of Blue pine to Junipers, pass through remote Yak burns up to the base camp with stunning view of Mt.Jomolhari at 7314mts. The trail passes through twin lake (Tshophu). Go over 16,040ft / 4890mt (Bontala pass), the highest pass on this trek with scenic views of Jichu Drakey. You may spot rare Blue Sheep, Marmot and Himalayan Griffon and the Yaks grazing all on the sheer cliff. On the way back you will trace the same trail from Shana to Paro.
