Flora tour in Bhutan is a delight for botanist with more than 7000 species available. There are 300 species of medical plants known and used for Traditional Medicines based on” Sowa Rigpa”, the ancient Buddhist system of healing. Rhododendrons are most popular in Bhutan with 46species recorded. Others include orchid(423species), Blue Poppy, Rheum Nobile (magic plant), Chinese caterpillar (Cordyceps sinesis).
