Nub Tshonapata Trek

The Nub Tshona Pata Trek explores the western region of Bhutan. Not many tourists have been on this trek and you may want to explore its uniqueness. The highlight of this trek is the Nub Tshona Pata Lake with its pristine turquoise blue color and the mystical history associated with it. The lake is associated with Terton Sherub Mebar, a treasure reveler of the 15th century Haa valley who engulfed the lake in his mouth through his miraculous powers to extract the religious instruments such as trumpet, a drum and a drumstick, and a pair of cymbals.
