Mountain Biking in Bhutan is a truly classic way to explore the country through its pristine forests and spectacular views of mountain ranges. One can experience rapid changes of vegetation from tropical banana to alpine dwarf bamboo, fast speeding and hair-raising road, with moderate to difficult climb traversing passes of over 3780m/12398ft, above sea level. It is a cross-country ride and you need few days to acclimatize. Members should overall be in relatively good physical shape with cycling experience.
You can also take a detour from riding and visit temples and Dzongs, fortress, catch up with the locals, take part in archery, the national game and soak in some art and culture along the way.
This tour is fully supported by backup Van and experienced staff.
